Newborn sessions are best done between 5-18 days old to be able to get babies into the sleepy and curly positions that you see in my portfolio, but I can photograph newborns up to one month old, but an older newborn up to 2 months old can still achieve those beautiful photos too they just may not be as sleepy or curly.
I aim to do baby led or organic poses, not forcing them into any positions they aren't comfortable in. Some babies can simply be more awake than others too and that's ok too (eye contact is so adorable). I read the cues of the baby as to what they are comfortable doing. For most of the session, baby will photograph in a simple white onesie in which I keep several in my studio, or you are welcome to bring your own, as well as many wrapped variations, and naked based on the requests of the parents.
I shoot on white, cream, and black backdrops. I have several matching wraps that complete your baby's images. I keep props to a minimum to allow for simplicity. For girls, I have several white and cream headbands if you wish to add. Don't want to leave your house? Let's do an in-home session where you can relax!
Best time to book your due date is during your second trimester. Your due date is then penciled on the calendar. When baby arrives, simply message me to let me know when you will be discharged from the hospital and both Mom and baby are doing well, then we can set your session date.

Non-refundable $200 session fee is due at booking to secure your spot. Remaining balance is due after baby arrives and we book your date.
Digital files are included with your session.

Want to capture your newborn in more of a lifestyle setting? Then let's meet at your home.
All you have to do is tidy up where you want me to photograph (typically the living room, nursery and master bedroom) and let me know
about your window placement for natural light.
If you don't think you have enough adequate light, I can bring my studio lights if necessary. There will need to be adequate space for the lights.
Depending on your preference, some posing is involved with baby, but I prefer baby-led posing which creates
a more natural feel and will show baby as you would normally see them.
